Founded in Barcelona in 2015, Wallbox (NYSE: WBX) is a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging and energy management solutions worldwide. The company turned to Spark to build Wallbox’s brand and establish overall awareness ahead of its U.S. launch at CES 2020. Since then, Spark has continued to drive national brand reputation across North America while also driving positive sentiment among potential partners and customers.
Approach
In prep for its U.S. launch at CES 2020, Spark collaborated with Wallbox to refine the narrative, positioning and messaging for the U.S. audience. At CES, Wallbox introduced Quasar, the world’s first bi-directional charger for home use, to the North American market. As a first-of-its-kind product, Quasar won four major awards at the coveted Consumer Electronics Show (CES), all recognizing the product as one of the most innovative products of the event. Since then, Spark has worked with Wallbox on numerous product and corporate initiatives in the North American market, including the launch of Pulsar Plus, its bestselling smart home EV charger. Spark secured numerous positive reviews at launch with influential media, creating a wave of both news and reviews coverage while also driving awareness among industry analysts to position Wallbox as a market leader. At CES 2022, Wallbox announced the introduction of Quasar 2, the latest generation of its bidirectional home charger designed specifically for the North American market.
