Challenge

After seeing early success in Europe, car subscription platform FINN engaged Spark to help roll out in local markets around the U.S.

Approach

In prep for FINN’s U.S. launch and subsequent Series B funding announcement, Spark collaborated with the company to build messaging, positioning and narrative for the U.S. audience. In addition to national news, Spark has worked with FINN to secure local interest, as well as thought leadership opportunities. Throughout the program, Spark has conducted a broad-scale media education program, leveraging news cycles related to the automotive industry to define the category and position FINN as the fastest-growing car subscription service. Spark also built consumer interest through a media trial program in regional markets where FINN is currently active.

Results

Spark secured an exclusive with TechCrunch for FINN’s Series B announcement, which was widely syndicated, as well as in FORTUNE, PYMNTS, Pitchbook, FutureCar, Gear Diary, Subscription Insider, Auto Remarketing and many others. We have also secured pending opportunities with Philadelphia Inquirer, New Haven Register, Wards Auto, Auto Success, The Car Doctor podcast and Techstination.
