Train An AI to Sound Like You in a Foreign Language with Localize by Resemble AI

What if you could “speak” a foreign language without learning a word of it? That’s the power promised by Resemble AI’s new Localize service. The service allows users to read just 50 sentences allowed, and from that, Localize can produce 15 minutes of audio in languages such as French, German, Dutch, Italian and Spanish in the user’s voice.

This new service caught the ears of Protocol, who noted the many possible applications of this technology, from virtual assistants to call centers. One application they didn’t mention is tricking friends and family into thinking you’re way more worldly and/or studious than you really are.
