While so much information is just a click or a tap away, there’s one place where technology hasn’t not yet leapt forward: understanding what we eat. That’s the case being made by Greg Shewmaker in his op-ed for the Forbes Technology Council.
Mr. Shewmaker is the co-founder of TeakOrigin, a startup which analyzes the nutrients within produce and food of all kinds, and has found that while there’s “no lack of innovation in the food sector,” a lot of what we read on nutritional labels is based on outdated assumptions.
