CES, one of the most influential events for the consumer technology industry, hosted thousands upon thousands of people at its annual conference last week in Las Vegas.Spark’s consumer team was on the ground launching new products and supporting our many consumer technology clients ranging from wearables, connected home devices, advanced audio technologies and innovative personal computers, all set to disrupt the way we work, live and play.To kick off the exciting week in style, Spark hosted its annual CES party Sparkles and Spirits on Wednesday night in the Mirage, to tremendous applause! Participating clients included Brilliant Home, Endless, Otto, VivaLnk, Waves and SetApp/MacPaw.

Year after year, media know they can count on Spark to throw a top-notch party, where they can find some of the coolest companies at CES all while enjoying a pre-Pepcom cocktail and tasty nibbles. This year’s event made true on its reputation and then some!Press attendance more than doubled with over 40 journalists stopping by! Top media including ABC, The New York Times, Digital Trends, CNET, The Chicago Tribune, ChipChick, ReadWrite among many more, made an appearance at our party to meet, mingle and most importantly, demo innovative new technologies from completely automated smart home devices, emerging media mobile applications and cutting-edge health wearables.

The night was a smashing success increasing our clients visibility with media at a traditionally very busy show! By bringing everyone together in a relaxed environment where it was easy to demo and really talk, it was no surprise that many conversations resulted in media coverage and new relationships were ignited which will last a lifetime. The way to winning at CES comes down to what strategy and approach you take. At such a large conference, it’s easy to get caught up in the shuffle. But, by investing in private events like Spark’s Sparkles and Spirits, personalized 1:1 demo’s and support from the best PR people in the business, the sky is truly the limit for companies of any size at CES. We’re looking forward to what 2017 has in store.
