What Promotions Mean to Spark
August 12, 2019
We’re thrilled to announce that August promotions are happening here at Spark! Promotions mean different things to different companies – most often, however, it’s focused on growth. Here, at Spark, we believe in promoting from within because we want to help everyone on our team grow: Our people come first. Therefore, anytime a promotion happens, it opens up a new role on our team (which is one of the many reasons why we’re growing!)
We don’t want to toot our own horn but – toot, toot! Our team has tremendous talent that’s based on ability (not just seniority), which is why internal promotions are happening!
Here are examples of two amazing human beings who have recently been promoted:
Angela Pontarolo, Vice President
Fascinated by the complex world of technology, the entrepreneurs creating tools to affect change and those individuals who make it all possible on a global scale, Angela prides herself in finding the right channel to tell the story – be it through a podcast, event, global conference or top-tier publication.
From general technology and fund-focused publications like TechCrunch, PE Hub and Crunchbase, to the top-tier media like WSJ, Forbes and beyond, her goal is to work with the right reporters and individuals to surface their unique voice among their peer set, all while telling a global story that affects the right technology vertical. She pairs this desire with ongoing thought leadership platforms to create meaningful conversations through other mediums.
Angela’s clients include IVP, Verizon Ventures, World Innovation Lab, Space Tango, Intertrust and more.
Angela says, “It’s been a delight serving our clients to surface stories about what’s next. Incredibly humbled to be working alongside our crew. Rock and roll.” 🎸
